MFMG backs women's leadership in agriculture

MacKillop Farm Management Group (MFMG) is proud to support Women Together Learning (WotL) with a scholarship for its 2027 Stepping into Leadership (SiL) program, providing a valuable professional development opportunity for a woman from the Limestone Coast involved in agriculture or agribusiness.

Women Together Learning (WotL) is dedicated to inspiring and supporting women in agribusiness by creating opportunities to come together and learn.

Specifically designed for emerging leaders in agriculture and agribusiness looking for training and support to step into leadership roles in industry, community or business, the SiL program enables women to build personal leadership skills through participation in face-to-face professional development and the ongoing support provided through individual coaching, mentoring and webinars.

The scholarship - open to a Limestone Coast woman in agriculture or agribusiness - reflects MFMG’s commitment to building leadership capability and supporting the continued contribution of women across the region’s agricultural sector.

MFMG Board Chair Brett Gilbertson said investing in women’s leadership was an investment in the future of agriculture and regional communities.

"Building on the success of supporting MFMG Mixed Farming Intern Arabella Hinge, who completed the Stepping into Leadership program this year, MFMG is pleased to continue investing in leadership opportunities for women in agriculture or agribusiness across the Limestone Coast," he said.
