Limestone Coast Landscape Board together with MFMG presents
Autumn 'Sticky Beak Friday'
Friday 13 March 2026, Coojar / Nareen (VIC)
9.00am to 4.30pm (VIC TIME)
Sticky Beak Fridays are all about looking over the fence to see how other farmers run their businesses. Throughout the series, we’ll be visiting a variety of different businesses throughout the Limestone Coast and Western Victoria, learning from our hosts and each other, and having a look at the new, the old, the successful and the not-so-successful!
Tim and Georgie Leeming, 'Paradoo', Coojar
9am (VIC time): Meet at Tim and Georgie Leeming's property 'Paradoo', 160 Armidale Road, Coojar VIC 3315
To kick off the day we'll be heading to Tim and Georgie Leeming's Coojar property 'Paradoo' for a sticky beak of their journey across 18 years, growing from 3000DSE to 30,000DSE with a move into lamb feedlotting, and a recent change in direction with re-allocation of assets, priorities and focus. What got them to where they are now, and how do they ensure their diverse enterprises deliver consistent output?
Richie and Sardie Edgar, 'West Cuyuac' Nareen
We'll then make our way to Nareen, visiting Richie and Sardie Edgar's property, 'West Cuyuac' - a family run business focussing on commercial lamb production and finishing through a feed lot system and fodder crops, with a ewe flock based on composite genetics from Paradoo Prime. Along the way they've purchased ex-forestry land - what have been the challenges and how have they made it work for them?
