With thanks to Westpac Agribusiness for their contribution to the evening.
We'll be welcoming our two Gold Sponsors as Guest Speaker panellists for the evening!
Pat Harrold, Harrold Bulk Haulage Company, Penola
According to Pat, supporting MFMG as a Gold Sponsor is an opportunity to both promote and give back to the Limestone Coast ag community.
"Giving back to the MacKillop Group is very important to us, it keeps our name out there, it's very rewarding...you can't put a measurement on it but I think its important that we do it," he said. A sentiment that speaks to Pat's generosity in his own business and the community.
Pat has benefited from the MacKillop Farm Management Group over the years - "I learnt a lot over the wheat trials" - and believes it's a valuable grower group to be aligned with.
We're looking forward to hearing more on Pat's journey in agriculture, the challenges and opportunities that he embraced along the way.
Chris Matthews, MGA Insurance
Chris has just nudged over 30 years with MGA Naracoorte - what gets him up in the morning? Who and what has shaped his journey?
A long-time supporter of MacKillop Farm Management Group, Chris is a former MFMG Chair and Board Member, serving in its early years throughout the nineties. Chris was keen to jump on board as a Gold Sponsor, to ensure even greater support for farmers navigating the challenges of today’s agricultural landscape. He's looking forward to being part of The Prosperous Farmer podcast early next year as a way of sharing the importance of having a robust risk management strategy in place.
Chris is energised by a creative side hustle that sees him travel all over Australia. We'll learn more about this passion, where he's been, and some of the adventures along the way.
