Tuning up your financial operations takes time and deliberate effort. With the right information and some useful tools, this workshop will diagnose your business efficiency and identify improvements to reach maximum performance on track.

Through a Quick Business Analysis of your own business (provided prior to the workshop by Chris Scheid), you will diagnose and understand:

  • Balance Sheet Performance and Management Performance - your key ratios (traffic light system)
  • Paying Tax - why and what are optimal tax payable levels?
  • Banking and Finance - your finance ratios, what your banking requirements are and how to manage your manager
  • A Checklist assessment of key metrics that the Top 20% farm businesses are doing in
    • 'People Management'
    • 'Being future focussed'
    • 'Production Management'
    • 'Managing Risk'

PLEASE NOTE:

  • To obtain the full value of this 1 day workshop, your latest taxation financials (eg FY24 or F24 if prepared) AND Business Analysis worksheet (7 mins to complete) need to be returned to  Chris.Scheid@Moore-Australia.com.au by Tuesday 22 April.
  • Chris Scheid will then provide attendees with their own Quick Business Analysis
  • The personalised Quick Business Analysis will not be shared in the workshop, and confidentiality is assured
  • It is recommended that you register as early as possible to allow time to complete the Worksheet and for the Quick Business Analysis to be returned.

It is recommended that this Workshop be undertaken as a pre-cursor to attending the "Is there any money in farming? Understanding the Cost of Production with Cam Nicholson" Workshop to be held on 19 June, 2025.
