Come along to the Mesonet weather station information session, hear from prominent agriculturalist Mick Faulkner on how the Mesonet can support your farming operations.

The sessions will cover:

• Spray drift and safe spray practices (including hazardous inversions);
• An overview of the Mesonet infrastructure and what it does;
• A live-demo and interactive demo which shows how the app can be used in real-time for safe and efficient spraying. www.mesonet.com.au

 
About the McLaren Vale Mesonet weather station network:

• The Mesonet is now in the Limestone Coast, Langhorne Creek and McLaren Vale! 
• The Mesonet is a high-spec weather station network which differentiates between hazardous and non-hazardous inversions for safe efficient spraying. This has been the missing piece of the puzzle to help combat spray drift damage and pesticide contamination.
• Additionally, all other ag-weather data is also supplied such as fire danger, rain, frost, etc. Data quality is equivalent to the BoM and with stations every ~30km, covering 50% of SA’s arable land.
• The McLaren Vale Mesonet is free for everyone but only for a limited time!
