Dr Michael Nash an applied invertebrate ecologist and widely accepted as a leader in the study of the lifecycle, habits, and control of Mollusca in Australia will present an interactive workshop, providing strategies to manage threats from slugs and snails in 2024.
Topics include:
- Slug and small conical snails - environmental triggers for activity and breeding.
- Cultural and biological factors that limit populations.
- Common misconceptions around chemical control.
- Best baiting practices.
Dr Michael Nash grew up on the family farm located in Western Victoria. An applied invertebrate ecologist, who regularly contributes at GRDC, CCA and DPI events. Michael is widely accepted as a leader in the study of the lifecycle, habits, and control of Mollusca in Australia.
