Project code: NA Project manager: MFMG Team Project duration: July 2023 to June 2025 About the projectThis project aims to provide local board and committee members with an opportunity to upskill themselves in non-profit and incorporated association governance of community organisations. The project will do this by running 4 two hour online workshops on a variety of topics that are relevant to the governance of community organisations. A final in-person Masterclass will be held in March 2025. The topics will be set by a small steering committee of representatives from local organisations and will include topics such as understanding the importance of an organisation’s constitution, how to recruit new committee members and ensure that they have the right skills, how to interpret and understand an organisation’s financials, and how to make good decisions as a committee.
