Farm Discussion GroupsDate:
Project code: LCLB00012 Project manager: Jess Revell and Meg Bell Project duration: July 2022 to June 2025 About the project
The project will implement a farm discussion group model in the Limestone Coast, engaging local primary producers and helping these producers to adopt and implement sustainable land management practices. The discussion groups will gather similar farms in a local region throughout the year, and facilitate discussion between group members based on the activities happening on farm at the time, and the priorities of the members of the discussion group. The discussion groups are open to primary producers throughout the Limestone Coast. A focus on sustainability will form the ethos of these groups; group members will be constantly challenged to share the ways they are implementing practice change on farm and improving their land for future generations.
