The MacKillop Farm Management Group's  goals for Research and Development include 

the development and review of a three year research strategy to provide direction and focus
 
the development of a succession plan for local researchers that ensures security and continuation of these services
 
having an annual MFMG scholarship for research
 
the engagement on a quarterly basis with all research networks, potential funders and collaborators
 
the winning of 80% of funding applications

MacKillop Operations and Research Officer

 

 We are pleased to announce that Felicity Turner has been appointed as the Operations and Research Officer for the Group.

  
Felicity has almost 15 years active experience in the agricultural industry working with farmers and industry representatives as an agronomist, with a particular interest in precision ag and minimum till farming.

She is passionate about agriculture and assisting farmers to remain profitable and to develop sustainable land management practices.

Initially her key responsibilities will be the identification and development of research and development projects, completing funding applications and reports, monitoring of projects and assisting with the compilation of the Trial Results Book. 

Felicity will be a familiar face to many in the region as she has been managing our existing Precision ag project with Caring for Our Country, and we look forward to being able to offer more to our members through this appointment.
