The data comes from a joint project between GRDC, Agriculture Victoria, Southern Farming Systems, the MacKillop Farm Management Group and SARDI. The project is examining the responses of wheat and canola crops to various nutrients. Measurements from a series of nutrient omission trials in the high-rainfall zone indicate that after high-yielding crops in 2016, large amounts of nutrient were taken off at harvest, and further nutrient losses would be expected during stubble burning.
