MFMG is a leading provider of research and extension for agricultural systems.
Mission
MFMG develops and delivers innovative and sustainable farming practices through collaborative research, communication and extension for the benefit of members and the agricultural industry across the South East of South Australia, Western Victoria and beyond.
Objectives
1. To be the leading provider of Research, development and extension in the “region”
2. To drive adoption and innovation from R & D
3. To support the development of independent research capabilities
4. To be the leading organization representing mixed farming in the region

Objectives and Outcomes
1. To be the leading provider of Research, development and extension in the “region”
a. An increase in collaborative opportunities for R D & E
b. Consistently delivering high quality R D & E
c. Increased R D & E opportunities for livestock, irrigation, mixed farming systems
2. To drive adoption and innovation from R & D
a. An extension strategy is followed by MFMG
b. Support is provided to enable adoption of R & D
3. To support the development of independent research capabilities
a. The next generation of researchers are attracted and retained
b. Established programs within universities which link to MFMG

a. Funding bodies approach MFMG to identify issues and carry our R D & E
